Russ Willey, who originally joined Enterprise Mobility in 1994 and has enjoyed two stints with the organization, was promoted to chief financial officer in 2022. He has been a senior vice president with the business since he returned in 2016.
In his current position, Willey oversees business management, supply chain management, aviation, administrative shared services, internal & external reporting, forecasting, tax, treasury, retirement plan administration, internal audit, global risk management, privacy and compliance & ethics.
Willey's introduction to the organization was as a business manager for Enterprise Fleet Management. In 1995, he became controller of the Heartland group. In 1998, Willey returned to St. Louis and joined the corporate accounting department. In 2002, he was promoted to assistant vice president of corporate accounting policies, procedures and systems. Shortly thereafter, he was named VP of internal audit.
In 2009, Willey left to serve as VP of finance & chief financial officer for the Centric Group. As CFO, Willey oversaw all administrative areas of the business including accounting and finance, human resources, treasury, tax, mergers & acquisitions, administration & legal. He also served as a director for the Centric board.
In 2016, Willey returned as senior VP of corporate accounting and shared services. He was named chief information officer in 2019 and held that position until his most-recent promotion.
Willey earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Northeast Missouri State University (now known as Truman State University). He currently serves on the Crawford Group board of directors and is president of the Boone Valley Golf Club. Willey previously spent three years as an Enterprise Mobility Foundation board trustee.
